are portable ultra sound therapy devices any good?
I injured my shoulder in February and took a few anti-inflammatories. I also received massage therapy. Its still in quite a bit of pain and i dont want to have surgery. I was thinking about buying a portable ultra sound therapy device, but i wasnt sure if they're any good. Do they work well for injuries? which ones are the best?
you are better off leaving this in the hands of a professional..you can do a lot of damage not knowing what you are doing with this piece of medical equipment...if you are depending on a machine to do your work, you are sadly mistaken..your shoulder truly needs to be diagnosed, treated mainly with exercises/stretches & very specific to your injury;; you also need to learn how to behave with this shoulder to stop re-injury...I'd suggest PT..I KNOW it will help you...but you HAVE to be involved & perform what you learn @ home too.. not just @ your appts...
