Would setting my foundation with a brush make my skin look more 'airbrushed'?

I haven't got a powder but I was wondering if it's necessary to go and get one. If so, which one - pressed or loose? How do I make-up look more 'airbrushed' and my skin look smoother - with or without powder? I've only got moisturiser, tinted moisturiser, concealer, foundation, Foundation Brush and Concealer Brush. I'm 17 and new to makeup lol

Loose powder is to make your skin look more matt, and to take the shine away from your skin, if you have oily skin. I usually use loose powder during "the special time of the month." When we are prone to oily skin.
Either one works, but DO NOT use A LOT of powder, pressed or loose, or you will look dead and flaky!
