Therapy Oatmeal
is this a balanced diet? and am i eating too many calories?
-bowl of raisin bran with skim milk
-hard boiled egg
-peanut butter sandwich on wheat
-cookies&cream protein shake from the gym
-oatmeal with raisins and a few berries
-an apple
-salad with italian dressing
-ham sandwich with lettuce and slice of cheese on rye
-bowl of steamed cauliflower
overall id say thats about 2200 calories. give or take. and i did some strength/toning exercise on my own and at physical therapy. plus a total of 20 or so minutes of easy/moderate running (5-8 min. run, 1 min. walk) and 45 minutes of swimming laps (freestyle). im somewhere around 5'4 to 5'5 and i weigh somewhere around 112. am i getting enough nutrients or getting too many calories? on average i consume 1800-2500 calories a day doing this type of physical activity.
ive been getting really tired lately and i dont know why. im 16 but im getting exhauste by 3:00 in the afternoon or earlier. i get 8 hours of sleep a night though.
Your diet sounds better than most, but it is difficult to get all the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs from modern food, that is why a really high quality multivitamin could help you.
