help, your opinion. Someone thought itwas funny to splash really hard glue on my car.Safest ways to remove it?
So i washed my car one afternoon, and then parked it outside. Then someone took it out on my car and splashed some kind of glue on the side of the car where the gas tank is at. it looks like boogers mixed with clear glue. What are safe ways to get it out and still leave it looking shiny? (really fine sand paper, claybar, cream)? i tried rubbing compound but it wasnt strong enough.
Don't use tyhe rubbing compound. you are tryign to rub the glue off before you rub of the surround ing clearcoat. It wont come out good.
GooGone is the way to go, or something similar. It will say right on the can, takes off tar and other road grime. It will work on the glue. Then once the glue is off 100%, nothign left at all, then wax your car and you will be good to go. I used to do a lot of work on cars and this is how I got exactly the same thing of off customers cars without them knowing I ever spilled on it
