what is a nice eyeshadow color for someone with caramel complexion?

i have long dark curly hair, i want to lighten up my colors.i have naturally dark colored lips,so i wear dark shades ,like cover girl smoothwear lip tints mocha it looks good but.Any tips with other possible lip colors too?but i don't want to look too unnatural. thnkx

If you have caramel tones then you are very safe with earth tones such as bronze, golds, browns and don't forget to higlight with a shimmery nude instead of platinum (platinum is best for people with lighter skin and theatrical/stage effects) in the inner corners of your eyes and on your brow bone. if you want to go for more color try an olive green color like Moss or Humid from MAC or a dark blue shimmer shadow.

Try using a nude/skin tone (try ones with little gold flecks) gloss or even light pink gloss. It will completely change your look. There is no harm in trying on makeup. Nobody walks out of the house looking silly because makeup isn't like a bad haircut you have to wait months to outgrow. you can just wash it off. Try different styles and shades. don't be afraid to experiment. I say raid your moms/friends/sisters makeup kits and try on what they have. at least you will know what products are good and really wearable without having to buy the actual item and without having a persuasive sales person give you their sales pitch...its free...good luck!
