The term Sheer cover makeup is a little confusing; the term is being used to market and promote the latest mineral makeups however, Sheer Cover is also a brand name used by a mineral makeup cosmetic company.

Sheer Cover makeup fashion range is made from minerals which claims to give a sheer, flawless finish as the minerals cover imperfections without having to apply heavy layers. Their mineral face powder has been widely advertised on television, especially shopping channels which has boosted sales and has made the use of mineral makeup a new 'craze' in makeup looks and on makeup fashion it is applied to the skin.

The company Sheer Cover also claims to provide cover for blemishes on the skin, it also says that their product is good for the skin as it contains sun screen, is made from 100% pure minerals which have no added chemical dyes, perfumes or preservatives. Sheer Cover makeup is slightly different from some of its rivals as they incorporate their foundation and finishing powder within the same product. Sheer Cover also boast the use of Green Rooibos Tea, which helps to protect the skin from oxidative stress. Sheer Cover awaits the patent for its mineral foundation SPF 15.

The Sheer Cover company operates via the internet as direct home shopping and their web site has many favourable reviews with 'before and after' pictures, hardly surprising that the reviews are all positives!

As with all mineral products it may be a matter of trying and testing for yourself the advantages of using Sheer Cover Makeup, however, the are vast differences in prices between brands and while many say that there are no expiry dates and therefore all of the product is used rather than disposed of, this is not very concerting if you don't like the product.
