Bare minerals Eye Shadow ! what colors are the best?
Okay i like bare minerals eye shadow but i need some colors that you like? What are your favorite colors. Which ones look the best. Go ahead and name as much as you want.
it depends on what kind of colors youre looking for.
for golds & oranges
- mai tai _ a nice warm melon colored gold
- chardonnay _ a soft gold with a slight pink undertone
- queen phyllis [is a popular color and matches with everything] _ highly iridescent gold also good for foiling.
- exquisite _ a nice natural gold that can be worn alone, as a base, or as a highlighter
- fun _ a burnt rust color good for summer [i wear it with humor for a smokey look with color] a color i would have never picked for myself but fell in love with.
pinks/purples
- gal pal _ a soft girly mauve like a soft rose.
- wildflower [looks wayyyy brighter than it goes on] _ a soft overlay lavender good for lightening purples you may have that are too dark.
- sugar plum _ is a beautiful warm purple that makes a great liner especially if you have blue eyes.
- angel _ a bright purple pink that will give you an extra pop. i was going to do a look the other day with mai tai on the lid and angel as my liner with onyx over it, just to give it a smokey purple undertone or outline.
blues/greens
- twilight _ a dark navy good for smokey evening looks but not overly harsh
- invitation _ a sheer gold green
- oz _ a nice deep jungle green good for lining or
- nob hill _ is a nice smokey grey green good for doing a light smokey look or green toned smokey looks. beautiful grey with a slight hint of green. would also look great if you pair with precious, rose pearl, or bisque for a naturally smokey look.
- surprise _ a periwinkle blue lighter in tone but a nice soft blue with an equally soft lavender.
- aquamarine _ a bright understated silvery turquoise that looks good with denim [a bright almost cerulean blue] greys, blacks, oz, & etc
grey/ brown /or darker shades
- drama _ as if anyone needs more drama ;] drama is a beautiful silvery deep deep charcoal grey.
- queen tiffany _ is a nice alternative to drama. if you dont want something so dark queen tiffany matches almost any color and is a darker mauve brown.
- rapture _ is a nice soft suede brown, good for those natural looks. i love pairing it with violet sky for a little throwback natural muse look.
- precious _ nice beige with shimmery goodness, good to be worn alone.
- sanctuary [i think available only online] _ a brown with a green overtone looks good all over the lid to give a smokey look without over doing it. good for a 5 min smokey look to go. ive paired it with mint.
- humor _ a dark silvery grey with sparkle. a pretty soft liner or a nice crease color for smokey looks. matches almost any color.
- tortoise _ a deep black with faint green gold and red sparkles. one of my favorite colors it looks beautiful on. like a deep dark black almost like a smooth black stone with a pretty glittery seaweed color mixed in.
these are only some of my favorite colors ;] some of them may seem a little out there but they always look different in the pot than when you wear them.
