To make this homemade hair gel, first heat a cup of water in small pot. Just before the water in the pot comes to a boil, remove the pot from heat. Then add ½ teaspoon of Aloe vera gel and ½ teaspoon of unflavored gelatin to the warm water in the pot. If you want to use essential oil for fragrance you can add few drops now. Then, mix all the ingredients together to attain a smooth and thick texture. If you find that the mixture has become too runny or watery, then sprinkle small amount of unflavored gelatin and keep stirring the mixture. Stir the mixture to attain a consistency and gel like texture. Store this mixture in a used hair gel container or in some Tupperware container.
