Why do you think a Christian God approves of being Gay?
I am an Atheist. I am the founder of the Church of Atheism in Eau Claire.
But, for those people who think that the Christian God approves of homosexuality - what are you thinking? The Bible specifically makes clear references regarding homosexuality.
For gay people who consider themselves Christian I just think it's kind of pathetic to cling to these ancient dogmatic religions despite their rejection of you.
A non-abrahamic God, or a belief that the bible is flawed would be permissive to homosexuality but not a Catholic, Baptist, Evangelical, Protestant, Lutheran, Jewish, Muslim, etc...
Well since you are throwing in the topic of people from African line, I think it's pathetic of Africans to be Christian considering the hundreds of years of slavery they endured under Christians Biblical endorsement of their chains.
I'm going to answer you the same way I did last time. You need to think of some original questions. Or get a life. Either works.
Why are you on here pointlessly bashing other people's beliefs? If a gay person wants to believe in the same god that straight people use to persecute them, that's their business. You're pretty much saying that all gay people have to be atheists (or at least not Christians), but this is not the case. Leave them alone. I'm an atheist too, but it really annoys me when other atheists bash people's religions and act all superior and condescending. There's no need to call someone pathetic and dis their beliefs if they're not hurting you. Stop acting like a jerk and do something useful with your time.
