Are body moisturizers that contain fragrance (perfume) damaging/drying to the skin?
Don't all fragrances (perfumes) contain alcohol which is very drying to the skin?
What are the ingredients you should watch out for in selecting body moisturizers?
There are some forms of alcohol that are moisturizers and not like basic rubbing alcohol. It's commonly used, and in about 99% of body care. Only ones that say alcohol free are usually babycare lotions or baby colognes like the company "mustela". They do say that heavily fragranced lotions do dry out skin, like some bath and Body Works stuff. It just depends on your skin type. If your looking for a simple lotion that your sure will be good for all skin, buy some Lubriderm seriously sensitive lotion. It's free of all dyes, perfume, and lanolin. I use it alot in the winter. Cetaphil moisture cream is another one alot of dr.'s talk about.
