Perfume Miniature
How do I get the lingering, strongly aromatic smell out of a cologne/perfume bottle?
...A bottle that has had cologne in it for, say, 4 months, that is. I dumped it all out, shook it vigorously with dish soap--and now it is sitting on the floor in front of a my mini personal fan.
Has the alcohol which served as the vehicle for the scent components somehow partially "mixed or bonded" with the container? (It's frosted glass, it is a "miniature sample" bottle, but it holds about 30mL's.) I hope not.
I was thinking: baking soda, baking powder, baby powder, more alcohol, or some semi-abrasive brush dipped in something like the above--preferably a liquid.
Please help. Thanks. Oh, and in case you're wondering, I like to mix 2 or 3 that I find combine well to make my own customized scent, in different ratios of course. Cool, huh?
Try rubbing alcohol with 1 tbsp of lime juice and scrubwith a small dish rag.
