Again, not all waxes can be used; beeswax and carnauba are the most suitable waxes for organics. For delicate colored materials such as holly and ivory, snow white refined beeswax is more advisable as not to darken the holly and ivory too much. More importantly, in removing stubborn dirt, do not be tempted with using water to clean dirt off; use light natural oil like jojoba instead. In cleaning organic jewelry, you need to make sure that it is free of dirt and excess oil before continuing with the process.
