A little insight into how Old Spice used the social media networks to launch their new advertising campaign.

The new Old Spice commercials that have show up on the internet over the last few months have been great and they have utilized the social media networks to their advantage. This is how they rolled out their campaign and how you too can do the same.

Firstly they setup their video campaign on You Tube; You Tube is the biggest video hosting network on the internet today. Secondly they setup and utilized Twitter which is one of the largest social networking sites, along with Face book.

Once they had all these social networking sites linked together they started marketing. The steps taken on social marketing are simple, first release the video on You Tube and then people started talking about it on their Twitter account. Once they setup their Face book page they were able to add a store and capture more social media market into their campaign.

This made it very easy for Old Spice to make more videos and increase their followers on the social media networks throughout the world. With the large amount of followers on the internet and all the hype around their videos it's easy to see how Old Spice is cashing in on Social Media.

This shows how you can utilize social media to your advantage to make money on the internet and we will see more and more companies rolling out new products with social media in the future.
