Should I oil my nail gun even if the instructions say not to?
Normally, I'd say you always follow the manual. For my Porter Cable 16 and 18 gauge nail guns though, the manual says NOT to oil the guns.
I have a builder buddy who says you have to oil these guns after every use. When I Google it, there are countless of examples of people oiling their guns. The manual says not to because they "tend to attract debris".
What do you think - should I oil it or not?
I have 2 Porter Cable nail guns. Both say 2 drops of oil per daily usage. I always oil before use.
