The krill oil health benefits are significantly less than a quality fish oil because krill does not contain much of the valuable omega 3 fatty acids that provide the health benefits.

There is also the problem of sustainability when it comes to krill as they, unlike fish, are caught solely for their oil. These small crustaceans are vital to the whole marine ecosystem and many species right up to the whales depend on them.
