I set up my laptop to dull boot with Windows 7 and Linux Mint, and now Windows 7 will not load anymore?
I set up my laptop to dull boot with Windows 7 and Linux Mint, and now Windows 7 will not load after after a few weeks. The computer turns on and goes to the boot menu, if you try to choose Windows it does nothing. You can boot to Linux Mint just fine. How can I just just go back to Windows 7 and forget about the dull booting?
You may have a back up of the boot image under a grub directory in linux. Use the "dd" command to restore the image and windows 7 should boot right up. You'll have to search the Internet on the parameters to use for "dd".
