Hi!! Is anyone having any eye allergies to Bare Minerals Eye Shadow line? My eyes have been bugging me.?

I have been wearing Bare Minerals for almost 2 years. It takes time to get used to but I love it. I have been wearing the eye shadow, glimpse & glimmer. I already suffer from dry eyes. But my eyes have been very dry, itching and just overall bothering me. I changed mascara, have clean brushes & have been trying to find out what is wrong by process of elimination. I do not have any problems with mineral veil or the base. I put both of those items on my eyes as a base. Is anyone else having similar problems? Thanks a bunch!!!

My eyes get a little itchy when wearing BE, but not too much. It could be a problem with the bismuth oxychloride (people are allergic, it can cause itchiness, and sometimes even rashes and breakouts. it's in alot of mineral maekups). It could also be mica, which is responsible for alot of shimmer in eyeshadow brands. See if you have a problem with other shimmery eyeshadows, if you don't it's the bismuth and you just have to find a new brand, if you have roblems with other brands, it's probably mica.
