What is the difference between loose/mineral powder foundation and pressed powder?
I use Loreal's true match powder and it is too thick for me and looks cakey after a few hours.
I want something that will be light, yet have coverage.
loose powder is generally used as a setter for liquid foundation/concealer as it is not meant for coverage and pressed powder is meant to be used instead of a foudnation so it is a powder form of foundation......if youre looking for a good powder foundation i would suggest bare minerals, it is a loose powder but gives good coverage or Avon if you wanted something cheaper. if youre looking for a pressed pwoder then i would suggest getting a clinique one. its excellent. or you could try a liquid foundation like Diorshow Airflash or Clinqiue Almost makeup or Benefit Flawless and then apply a loose powder (like Avon perfect match) over it.
