Macs Hello
why don't more professions use macs? I just started using one and love it!?
Hello.. So I've always been a PC but recently I've started using macs because I have an iPhone, and an iPod so I wanted to know what the MAC experience was like.. After only two days I have to say that I'm in love with these computers.
RIght now I am using an iMac and unfortunately in my school's computer labs there are at least thirty PCs --dells-- compared to only three iMacs!
I can understand why there are more PCs because all the software I've been using for my technology courses are on PCs and do not run on Macs. But I' changing majors to liberal arts, so would I be using Macs more or the same as if I were in technology?
I'm going to be a law and society major, and I'm thinking about working for a non profit, or doing journalism.
Because for the most part, you can do all those "professional" things on a PC for half the cost or less. And as others have mentioned, there's a ton more software and support. Why would a "professional" want to buy a system that limits them? Just because you are drooling over the pretty colored graphics on your screen doesn't mean it's the best choice and doesn't mean it's the smart choice. It just means you were easily fooled in to buying something for twice the money of a PC and now you'll suffer by having less choices in the long run. The truth hurts,
