How do you administer nasal spray?
I have the most hideous hayfever, so i've got some nasal spray. Lucky me
There are no instructions at all on the bottle, just dosage
So uh, am I meant to inhale as I squirt it or not? anything else? lol
It seems pretty obvious, don't you think? 8^)
Actually there are two kinds. One is a plastic bottle that you spray by squeezing. For that you breathe really deeply as you squeeze. You want to taste it in the back of your throat.
The other kind is a little aerosol bottle, pressurized like a little spray can, that delivers one measured puff each time you push the top down. A little 'Pfffft'. For that you only have to be breathing in while you do it, once in each nostril. I get these for my allergies (Flonase, for instance) and I think they work much better. You can't feel or taste them.
