Is there such a thing as a Martini Kit (set)?
I have Martini glasses and I have toothpicks, but when I skewer my lovely olive and plop it down in my glass it just floats stupidly. The two don't fit together.
So I headed to the store and the internet's to find a Set that contains two glasses and includes skewers that were made to fit said glasses. I can't find this anywhere.
Sure I can search for some skewers and get new glasses and "hope" the skewer rest nicely with a bit poking out the top, but I thought it would be really easy to find a combo.
Granted on Ebay I did see some crazy colorful glasses and skewers with dolphins on them, but I'm looking for a classic style, so I can resume watching my MASH box set.
If you can help me find them online or if you have a solution let me know.

I believe I speak for all martini fantics when I say you are embarrassing us.
Seriously, get some gayly colored plastic cocktail swords or picks, put three or so regular olives on it (or one or two giant queen olives) and throw it in there. Nothing wrong with the lowly wooden pick either (tooth pick or wooden cocktail pick).
Other than that, there are awesome stainless or silver cocktail picks, usually with bakelite beads, from the deco period. These were produced in france, germany, and the US and were of exceptional quality and inspired designs. These are usually sets that come with a wooden stand or a metal holder. The set I have has an enameled brass holder that looks like a small cocktail shaker, when you remove the shaker top you see 6 little bakelite manhattan cherries, when you pull out a cherry you find it is the end of a cocktail skewer.
Other than that, I have no idea what you are talking about in regards of it poking out or matching. Long ones stick above the rim, short ones go beneath the surface of the drink- there is no right or wrong. Drink martinis long enough and you will realize every glass is destined to be broken- even your favorite matched sets. They are as mortal as men. Worry about getting Noilly Pratt and Regans Orange Bitters. Those are martini concerns worrth losing sleep over.
Now get it in you, son. Plus MASH, is that really how you should be spending your drinking time? Fireball XL5 box set with rockin' tunes playing over the picture-THAT's what I'm talking about.
