I have used the Teint Idole. It is very dry on the face, so you need moisturizer underneath. It looks natural on oily skin, but will cake up if you have dry skin. It lasts all day on me, and it does cover acne, but won't completely hide all redness. It's a pretty good foundation, but only if you can get past the completely matte finish. The proper shade is also tough to select. I've Never Used photogenic. It says it is skin-illuminating. I've used L'oreal's skin illuminating makeup (lancome owns l'oreal, or the other way around, so their makeup is similar) and hated it because it was thick and shiny and broke me out. But it went on smooth. It looked fake and greasy, but it was good for the winter.

I'd say neither one is the best makeup I've tried, but your skin may be different. If you have dry skin, get the photogenic and if you're oily in most spots go with idole.
