Does breast size affect the accuracy reading of hand held body fat analyzers?
i'm trying to find information concerning how breast size could affect readings on monitors using the bioelectrical impedance method, specifically, hand held devices.
i'm looking for facts more than opinions. Any references would be extremely helpful and much appreciated.
Biolectrical impedance is not really that accurate, gives a very general idea of body fat. Callipers would be better.
I know that biolectrical impedance sends a current through your body and muscle conducts the current where as fat blocks it. So the breasts would not conduct the current as they are fatty tissue and this would affect the reading.
