Is this poem ok for a school assignment(didn't put much time into it)?
Let the flowers dance,
Carefree and fair
Unchanged in their still perfection.
Only let them be changed by nature
The kind caress of the heaven’s breath,
The gentle whisper of the departed souls.
Upon their sparkled petals,
Above the seed that gave them life,
We love in an erotic dance, carefree and fair.
The beardy hills to keep us warm,
Our own world above the sun filled valleys
Our own universe of eternal romance.
Give birth to this heavenly world,
Our secret box of treasured passions
Unlocked and left to lit the dark.
Let me pause in your soft breath,
Breath new life into my flesh
And let me life in your presence forever more
Carefree and fair, carefree and fair.
You obviously have talent. Someone who writes this well should go the entire route and put enough work into their poetry until they are satisfied with it. You have fine potential; I hope you persist in writing poetry.
