Grapefruit Hand
My daughter's boyfriend fell 10 plus feet from a ladder at work onto his arm. His hand is the size of a?
grapefruit. His injury is from just above his elbow down. He did not go to the doctor because he did not have any immediate pain. His hand still does not hurt. Why would it be that swollen and have no pain in it?
I would take him in a hot minute if he were here. He lives in another state in a rural area.
My daughter lives near me...
Yesterday he went to the doctor and they think shattered elbow and broken wrist. Today is when he will be x-rayed and find out if he needs surgery or if he can heal on his own. He feels he will be back to work in a few weeks. His job is holding a huge heavy saw and cutting concrete with it. Now what do you think of that? He is a tough guy but I rather doubt it will be a quick fix.
I would tell him that he needs to get to a DR ASAP.... he fell ten feet and now has massive swelling and no pain that is not good... since the swelling is beginning at the elbow it is a very good possiblity that along with what ever bones he has damaged he has also done some nerve damage(that is why he is feeling NO PAIN!!!)
please get him to go to the ER or take him ur self......
