Is it safe to feed a newborn goat's milk as a substitute for formula?
I am adopted and my adopted mother raised me on goat's milk (at least for the first year on my life) and I'm fine. I plan to breastfeed when my baby is born, however I realize that sometimes women don't produce enough milk. If that is the case for me, I'd rather not give my child formula because it's synthetic and I'd prefer to give my baby natural. So my question is, can I give my child goat's milk or have they found something since 1978 that would say it would not be a good idea?
i was also raised on goats milk, and i grew up fine also, however, you can but goats milk formulas now, which are recommended over the fresh stuff because in the formula, it is specifically made with everything the baby needs, jyst based on goats milk instead
