Five Vials
When should I be worried about my bruise?
I had five vials of blood drawn at 8am yesterday for testing, and I usually don't bruise heavily after a blood test, but this time I got a bruise about 1 inch by 1/2 inch. The insertion of the needle was not uncomfortable, and it was only one prick. The bruise started small, then grew and continued to grow overnight. When should I be worried about it? How long should I wait for it to go away?
Needles have different gauges so they might have used a smaller gauge (= >mm) then they usually do, which caused the bruising.

Don't worry as you have reason to have a bruise there (from the needle and not uncommon). Bruises can take about a week to lose discolouration (sometimes more).
