Milani Eyeshadow
On our campus, she has been tagged the most gorgeous dresser, the most intimidating wardrobe and there is once particularly interesting title of hers that always fascinates me- the Queen of Milani. She bagged this name because of her unshakeable faith in the Milani Eyeshadow.
Long before I met Veronica, my friends had always talked about a geography major that they referred to as the Campus Queen. They said she was the real Milani girl. I became interested in her even without knowing her before. As fate would have it, I bumped into a young lady along our lecture corridor one sunny afternoon. I had turned sharply at a corner and there was chaos. I had bumped hard into her, and the force of the collision made her bag fall on the floor breaking her mirrors and spilling the contents. ‘Oh my Milani eyeshadow!' she kept grumbling. It was quite clear that she was upset about the whole incident. But I did not understand why she was particularly worried by a ‘common' eyeshadow, of all things.
I helped her with the contents and apologized profusely not knowing that this elegantly-dressed lady was the Queen of the Cosmetic Universe! I offered to buy her a new Milani eyeshadow and a Milani face powder since she was so worried but I did not know where to purchase it. She promised to take me to the nearest Milani store by the weekend. And that was it; we became lovers not long after. After buying her the Milani eyeshadow, I was so curious to know why she was so attached to this eyeshadow. And to be candid, the eyeshadow really made her look like a goddess. But I wanted to know more.
By the time Veronica finished idolizing the Milani eyeshadow and other Milani cosmetics, I actually felt like using one myself! According to her, the eyeshadow, being the queen of all eyeshadows, has a very unique blend of pigments that gives a lady a look of strangely attractive and yet exotic beauty. It makes you look like an imperial lady, a celestial paragon of legendary beauty she said. Apart from this unique colour blend, the eyeshadow is available in a variety of assorted colours which can be chosen to match the colour of any outfit. These colours included java bean, sheer sand, sun goddess, garden mist, illusion, storm and taffy! She actually prefers the sun goddess!
Another reason that my girlfriend proffered to me when she was ‘advertising' the Milani eyeshadow was its durability and reliability. You can apply the eyeshadow for a whole day without it being wiped off. That is particularly true because on days that Veronica sleeps with her heavy make-up due to laziness, the eyeshadow is always clearly there the next morning she wakes up. I owe this Eyeshadow my love!
