How can I prevent my eyes from burning with mascara?
Everytime I apply mascara, by the end of the day my eyes start to BURN LIKE HELL. It's like the mascaras getting into my eye or something. When I laugh, my eyes tear up and I guess it blends with the mascara and gets into my eye but sometimes when I don't event ear up it burns. And it's not the mascara because I've tried like 4 different brands and types. Any tips? Thanks!
It probably IS the mascara. Look for a good hypo-allergenic brand. (Neutrogena makes one that's pretty gentle, and so does Mary Kay.) Also, avoid waterproof mascaras, because they seem to contain more irritants than other mascaras. Last of all, mascara can harbor bacteria. Keep your mascara wand as clean as possible, and replace your mascara AT LEAST every six months, even if you haven't used it all.
