Exfoliating Scrub
whats an exfoliating scrub that wont make my sensitive skin break out?
I use st. Ives apricot scrub to exfoliate and take off most of my make up. But I've started noticing that everytime I use it, I break out. Is there another scrub I could use that won't make me break out.
I have the same problem with St. Ives. the problem is that they put salicylic acid in it and that can actually stimulate sebum production, and make skin break out more. I actually resorted to just using plain white sugar to exfoliate, a lot of people use it because it is so safe. The acids produced by sugar are nutritious to the skin and the stimulation gives you a glow. Just use it in conjunction with a gentle cleanser like neutrogena or cetaphyl.
