IS IT SO BAD I WANT TO enjoy life???why do they stop me?

well im currently at school and i feel like my life my life has become all about study and exams and ive just become so distached from eduaction ...im clever and stuff but its not really of any interest to me ...i write poetry and i make mini films to put a motion through my words . people are telling me thats my only choice ...well ist not , i will finish my eduaction but doing something i truely love is close to my heart .and become a writter....well i know you wont get much money but thats all my parents care about ...(money )! i dont really like money ,ive always hated the way it makes popel do crazy things ....i could have a thousand pounds and would be much happy to give it to charityy then spend a penny . people think im a dreamer but i really want to live my life and make my poetry come alive . am i so wrong ?

At this point in time you are young! you NEED to focus on your education. sure kids always want to do other things but it's not really all that important, education is where you get your future of doing as you wish. I also notice you say you don't care about money...well you should! Money is how you eat and live. You need alot of money MONTHLY atleast 1,000 a month just to live. to buy food and to, pay your electricity bill, to pay your water bill, to pay rent or morgage. hell rent alone is usually about 1000 a month or so. You NEED a good job to pay for all that. if you look at many famous writers they all have a main job and then do writing in their free time. So don't give up on writing just don't make it a priority at the moment.
