Can I wear dangle earrings?
I just got my ears pierced at Icing's 2 months ago and just started to wear different earrings. They said to wait 1 year before wearing dangle earrings, and to where post for a whole year. I though they meant fishhook type dangles, but I was wondering if it was okay to were post dangles, that have the backing and stuff? My friend wore fishhooks and got her ears torn, so I wasn't planning on wearing fishooks for a whole year, but the plain stud posts are boring, and I was wondering if it's okay to wear post dangles without getting my ear ripped or the whole becoming smaller???
(don't plan on wearing them for long periods of time or when I go to bed, just for events here and there. =)
The one year thing is just how long it takes to heal the whole entire piercing. After 1-2 months you can wear your dangly earrings. Just don't wear them to sleep, and when you're at home talking on the phone for a long while, take them off. I wore heavy loops after 1 month, and now my piercing is fine!
