Which city in Cuba is best for vacation?
Im planing to get an all inclusive vacation package to cuba, and ill be going with my buddies. we are all about 21-27 years old. Which city should we go to?
and any suggestions? what should we try? and is there something you think we should not miss?
It depends on what you want. Seeing how you are in the 21-27 year old age range, I would think that you would be interested in partying? For that, I would highly recommend Varadero. Some awesome clubs to check out is La Rumba, Mediteranean (sp?), the Cave and maybe International. My all-time favourite was La Rumba - went there twice (for reference, I am a 22 yr old and went down from July 24-31st of this year - first time going to Cuba and I want to go back!!). The downfall to some of the clubs is that you will have to wait in line for at least 45 minutes to get a drink (I met a whole bunch of people down there - we ended up sneaking 2 big bottles of rum into 1 club....and I even walked into a club double-fisting my drinks from the hotel bar!) and they do close down at 3am but that doesn't mean you can't go back to the hotel and party (we continued at the beach bar).
Personally, I wasn't a fan of International. I stayed at the Barcelo Solymar so International was right next door but it was crowded and there wasn't any air conditioning. As I said before, La Rumba was my absolute favourite.
