What is the best form of Kava Kava to buy?

I recently tried Kava Kava. I ordered the 84% kavalactone capsules, and although I enjoyed the effects, I had to take more capsules than recommended. I've heard the liquigels are the best, but they're out of stock.

I'm not sure where you are but if you're in the UK they're still banned here unfortunately. Despite the fact that Kava's been used for thousands of years in the South Pacific and over here without any problem, we're not allowed to use it in this neck of the woods, so I can't really say which is best. Depending on what you want it for there are a couple of things you could do:
a) - look at using Happiness Tree (Alibizia julibrissin) as a safe and legal alternative. It really does what it says on the tin and if you can't get hold of the flowers the bark will do you fine.
b) - speak to your local Herbalist who'll be able to help you better in person. You can just get some free advice over the phone so no need for a full consultation. This is a better way to go really as they're trained to give the right herb to the right person at the right time, and know a great deal about the quality of the medicines they're dispensing.
