Skyway Luggage
Skyway luggage has been bringing innovation to the luggage industry for over 90 years. They have just introduced the Escape line of rolling cases that is another example of their continuing dedication to provide superior luggage design. Available in black or gray, they offer vertical expandable cases in sizes 29", 25" and 22". Rounding out the set is a 25" drop bottom vertical case, a 20" drop bottom vertical carryon, a rolling organizer, a bi-fold garment bag and a travel mate tote. All of the cases feature the Zero Gravity frame construction that is stronger, more flexible and 30% lighter than convention frame construction. With the airlines charging extra when you go over their new weight restrictions, this Zero Gravity construction is extremely important to air travelers. Each vertical case and the rolling organizer are complete with their comfort grip locking handle system. This locks in the up or down position, and allows you to easily push or pull your luggage through busy airport, bus or train terminals. You need simply to push the top button to lock into position. When locked in the down position, the handle stores in its own specialized Hide-A-Handle pocket for protection. The cases also feature carry handles on top and on the side, as well as on the bottom of the case between the wheels. These handles make gripping the case possible when storing in car trunks, or when retrieving your bag off crowded airline carousels. All of the rolling pieces are equipped with the durable polyurethane In-Line Skate Wheel System. The high impact wheel housings are mounted at the outside corners of the cases to ensure superior stability and smooth operation over a variety of surfaces. You can easily wheel this discount luggage out to the curb for a taxi, or on sidewalks or cobblestones to catch a train.
Because we all love to shop, the vertical cases and Bi-Fold garment bag are expandable for up to 25r% more carrying capacity. The fabric is constructed of ultra-durable water and tear resistant micro-ballistic nylon fabric. To further insure ease in rolling your cases along, the cases have a low profile Attach-Mate modular strap. These can be utilized by hanging a second bag in the strap for hands-free carrying convenience. They will piggyback another case for wheeling ease. The Escape lightweight luggage also features a unique suiter system that comes complete with packing arms to keep items secure and reduce wrinkling. The suiter system works with any hangers in your closet for your packing convenience. The self-repairing nylon zipper with Smooth-Zip movement is easier than ever to open and close. Even when fully packed this zipper will keep your clothing and travel accessories safe and sound. The interior is fully lined to protect all of the contents of the case. The vertical cases feature elastic tie-down straps to secure packed items during transit. These straps reduce wrinkling by keeping everything in its place. Each case also comes complete with a removable water-resistant toiletry. Remember, you need to pack your liquids and gels in your baggage. This removable case is ideal for that purpose. The new airline regulations will only allow you to carry liquids on to an airplane in the 3-1-1 toiletry kit. The vertical cases also have 3 easy access external pockets for last minute items and for packing the important rain jacket and umbrella. Also inside the vertical cases are a zippered mesh pocket and 2 elastic shoe pockets.
One of the most popular sizes available in the Escape lightweight luggage series is the garment bag. This case works like a closet and opens up like a book. It has 2 easily accessible external large outside pockets and 2 internal mesh pockets. There are also multiple zippered accessory pockets inside for all of your travel accessories. The garment holder will take ordinary household hangers for your packing convenience. The tie down straps secure packed items and reduce wrinkling. The mesh pockets make it easy to see what you have packed and make living out of the case easy. It is not necessary to unpack this garment bag, just hang it up and use. There's also a removable adjustable shoulder strap for ease in carrying. This bag can also be attached to the Attach-Mate modular strap on the rolling cases.
Besides being 30% lighter than conventional case construction, these cases are also more flexible, making them easier to pack. The cases also have more thread count per square inch as compared to regular ballistic nylon. This fabric provides high durability and Long Lasting resistance to wear. It also gives a richer finish to the fabric, and is water and tear resistant. The travel mate tote has a spacious main compartment. The 2 easily accessible exterior accessory pockets will carry your travel papers securely. The removable and adjustable shoulder strap makes carrying wherever you are easy. The back of the tote also has a modular strap to connect the case to the vertical wheeled pieces for ease in transport and for hands free carrying convenience. The Escape series is also perfect for corporate gift giving. Cases can be monogrammed with the individual initials or with company logos. Skyway offers a limited warranty that is in place for a period of 15 years from the date of purchase to assist the original purchaser in the unlikely event that a defect should arise.
