How do you save PhotoShop brushes as .ABR? Thats all it's letting me use. Please HELP i'm SOO confused.

Okay so I have Adobe Photoshop Elements CS3. I want to download brushes. So I was at DeviantART.com. I Downloaded some things and then opened Photoshop. Then I went to the place where you Load the brushes and It says .ABR only PLEASE help me and tell me what to do! I'm soo confused and I'm getting frusterated. =[ Thanks!

Perhaps the brushes were meant for Paint Shop Pro as an 'JBR' file extension.

I am able to use the same brushes for both Paint Shop and Photoshop. I just change the corresponding file extensions.

Ex. I downloaded grunge brushes for Paint Shop to my desktop, the file name is: corners.JBR

JBR = Jasc BRushes

ABR = Adobe BRushes

I needed a feature in Photoshop, but I didn't want to open the two programs simutaniously, so I loaded those grunge brushes right into Photoshop by doing a simple step.

1) Right-click on the brush file
2) Click on 'Properties' on the bottom of the menu
3) In the input box, it showed: Corners.JBR
I changed 'Corners.JBR' to 'Corners.ABR'
Click 'Okay'

Done, the brushes are ready to import into Photoshop.
