Body Massage | Relax to your Full Body Massage
Before starting the massage sequence, it is essential to prepare the physical space around you and to create the right state of mind, for both the giver and the receiver. This will determine the success of the massage for both partners. If it starts with one or both of you feeling nervous, tense or angry, this may deter you from experiencing the full benefits of the massage.
To prepare the physical space, make the room comfortable and secure and choose your favorite massage oil to create your mental space. Start by letting your partner know in advance how you like the massage to be.
The preparation of the massage begins by you setting the intention. This, however, does not exclude you from communicating further with your partner, the likes and dislikes of the massage and other points you may want to cover.
To give or receive the massage you need to let your mind move into a trance-type state to heighten your sensations. Posture-Meditation and Navel Breathing are important for achieving this alteration in consciousness. A relaxed state of mind will increase sensual experience and enjoy the massage that is given by your partner.
A massage usually uses firm relaxing strokes to release tight knots of tension leaving you totally relaxed and re-energized. It provides great emotional relief as it soothes your body and allows your mind to rest. Massages provide great muscle relief as it helps the body and allow your mind to reduce stress by rubbing, stroking, kneading, or slapping. Massages are usually performed to relieve muscle stiffness, spasms, or cramps and to relieve anxiety, stress and tension. Massages may also help improve or protect your memory.
To enjoy the massage, it is very important to set the right mood. It pays to take time to prepare the rule you will be using. There is nothing more annoying than having to stop the massage because you have to get oil or search for another towel or get a drink.
Make sure the room is warm, private and secure. The room should be preferably dimly-lit with soft music playing. A mattress on the floor is preferred as it makes a good massage surface. For those who prefer elevated positions, a standard massage bed can be used. If all is used, warm it before beginning the massage and have it at hand.
To enhance the sensual aspect of the massage, keep the room temperature warm and beautify and sensualise the room with flowers and burn some incense. You should also consider taking a bath or shower before the start of the massage. This will relax the giver and receiver as it relieves tension and enhance cleanliness. This is the basic preparation stage for the massage. When properly done, it will give the parties a heightened sense of pleasure and enjoyment.
A good body massage done by an experienced practitioner can open your eyes to a whole new world free of pain and full of peace. It has taken a long time for the Western world to adopt massage therapy as a legitimate and useful practice for healing, but it has become an important dynamic to a healthy body and mind. Massage in the West is no longer seen as just an indulgence but rather as a real therapy for displacing bad energy and replacing it with good energy to optimize your body's functions.
Body massage doesn't just feel good it does good. Loosening up your muscles so they can relax and fall into place the way they are meant to can relieve stresses on your body you didn't even know you had. And, when you really buy into the effects of massage you will find your mind follows suit. When you are in congress with your massage therapist on mental and physical level the peace and tranquility that takes you over can change your whole outlook on your life and your body's health. This is what ancient practitioners of massage were telling us.
In the past, spa centers in Manila are found only in hotels. Usually, those which are independent are usually expensive. However, today, there are spas which charge low rates. You can actually receive a good full body massage at P250 and also get privileges such as free drinks.
