What's a really good affordable face primer that keeps blush and foundation looking fresh?
And where can I get it?
As a makeup artist, my work often has to last all day (especially when doing brides and the such), so I know the value of a good face primer. The one I use most of the time is a little on the pricey side, but is well worth it. Because primer is the glue that holds your face together, it's one of the products worth investing a little more.
My favorite is NARS face primer with SPF. It's $33/tube, but you only need a dime sized amount for your whole face so it lasts quite a while. Another great one is Smashbox's, and that one comes in travel size versions for $16 each if that is more in your budget.
