Bed Spa
i am wanting to redecorate my room in a spa theme and have no idea how to! please help!?
i already have my bed covers which are striped colors of pinks, white, blues, and greens. my wood color is almost white and i kinda want my room to be a bright and fun spa theme yet also relaxing! i need ideas and i need them kind of fast! so please if you have any information links to websites or pictures of spa and spa themed room i would really appreciate it! thanks!
I don't have web sites or anything like that, but I do have an idea.
First, incenses are very relaxing and are found at a lot of spas. so I would get some of those. Second, get some vases and fill them with brightly colored rocks and add some water to them ( you don't need to have plants in them ) Third, paint your walls in pastel colors that match your covers. Fourth, water is really relaxing to most people and therefor you should get a water fountain, pictures of waterfalls, or anything to do with water. Fifth, lighting is very important, some spas have darker lighting and others have normal lighting, but none of them have overly bright lighting. Bright lighting symbolizes energy, but don't have too dark of lighting because that can hurt you eyes, just a lower wattage bulb will do the trick. Sixth, get some plants. nothing too big and flashy but something that's easy to take care of and you think is really pretty and that you would like looking at. Seventh, have your bed closer to the floor, the lower it is, the easier it will be to get in and out. Also, you'll be farther from the ceiling and that will give the impression that your room is higher than it is and therefore there will be claustrophobia. Eighth, get some shelves for your walls and put beauty stuff on them (foot scrubs, lotion, facial scrubs, nail polish etc) Ninth, get some pictures of places that you have been that were really fun with family or friends and just put them wherever. The colors will bring the fun element but the rest will be relaxing. If you don't like my idea thats ok but I'm just giving you ideas and I hope that however you do your room that you like it.
