Makeup tips and ideas please?

I already wear makeup, but it a bit simple. It comes of like a shimmering silver kinda tone. I really like it. Anyways, i wear mascara. But, i will be getting my first eyeshadow palette. I love that Avon eyeshadow color but it will get boring after a while of using it everyday. I really like that eyeshadow palette also. I would suggest that if your getting bored with your everyday routine and you want to try something new that will show up well against your skin you should try gold. Im learning to be a makeup artist and in one of my classes we talked about different shades and tones that go well agaisnt african american skin. Gold eyeshadow is really pretty agaisnt dark skin because it adds warmth to the face and it shows up really well and high lights your eyes. You should use a dark brown eyeliner and brown mascara to really bring out the color of your eyes. And since you said that your brow bone is lighter then that means that the brows get noticed more then on anybody else. You should make sure to shape them and tweeze or wax them as soon as possible. Then add a white eyshadow or shimmery cream eyeshadow just beneath the eyebrow to highlight the brows and make them look more shapped.
Also try for eyeshadow a violet or purple color. I found out that on dark skin the purple pops and really makes your eyes noticeable. If your eyes are hazel then the purple will make the green in your eyes seen better.
Since your skin is dark then I think you would look really nice with blush. Be sure not to get a to light color because it will wash out your skin making it look really dull. Get a deep color that goes really well with your skin.
And for lips I would say choose something with just a hint of color because to much color will overdo the look if your eyelids are gold or purple. I hoped this helped!
