Avon Reps - Do They Make Money Selling With The Company For Women
Avon, the company for women, is a company many women decide to look into when thinking about starting a business for themselves. Avon started from humble beginnings and has grown to a household name that offers the opportunity for anyone (women especially) to start a small business from home. Few people actually think Avon is a scam or pyramid scheme, but do want to know if the reps can actually earn money selling with the company.
A Quick Avon History
Started in 1886 by David H. McConnell Avon began with the name "The California Perfume Company". By 1928 the company for women had 25,000 reps and started selling the first products with an Avon name on them. In 1970 the company changed its name to Avon Products Inc. and had sales reaching the $750 million range. By 1979 Avon sales had exploded to the $3 billion mark!
Avon Products Reps Offer
The Avon opportunity gives its reps quality products that are well recognized around the world. The most recognized of course is the ‘Avon Color' line which is all the make-up like mascara, eyeliner, Eye Shadow lipstick, etc. The product lines have expanded over the years to include skin care, hair care, bath and body products, wellness lines and even fragrances. Avon has an ever expanding line of products and growing number of reps becoming involved in the business opportunity.
Avon Business Opportunity - Becoming A Rep
The business model used by Avon is the MLM / network marketing style. What this means is that you will be allowed to sell the Avon products and receive retail profit on all your sales. The real money comes in when you grow your organization and start earning commissions on all the sales of your organization. To do this you will need to recruit other people you know into your business and teach them to sell the Avon products and business opportunity. You do this by asking your family and friends if they want to buy your products and look at the business plan.

As with any business out there, it takes extreme dedication and consistent daily action to start earning money with Avon. What you really need to look at is if the business plan works for you. Some things to take into consideration are,
