Please guys help me to restate the english of the following paragraph?
From a fundamental point of view, the inherent nature of these semiconductors is controlled by mixing with semiconductors of different constitution because they form solid solutions on mixing which are adjustable as a function of their mixing ratio.
It is believed that such semiconductors can be fabricated by choosing suitable parameters, for example, the mixing ratio. However, there are many problems remaining to be solved. For instance:

(2) The structure of defects.
(3) The chemical and physical situation of dopants existing in the crystal lattice.
Actually, no information on the structure of the dopants is available to speculate on its structure.

(1) The concentration of non-stoichiometric elements and its [rather than “its,” you might say, “and the role of this concentration.” While you are correct in using the singular, one does a slight double-take with “elements” immediately preceding “its.” ] role in determining the properties of semiconductors.
(2) The structure of defects.
(3) The chemical and physical situation of dopants existing in the crystal lattice. [You might say, “how the dopants fit into the crystal lattice and their chemical effects]
Actually, no information on the structure of the dopants [are you actually speaking of “the structure of the dopants” or do you mean how they fit into the lattice structure] is available to speculate on its structure.
